Aston, PA—The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia will host their 14th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction on Monday, September 15, 2008 at The Springhaven Club, Wallingford, Pennsylvania. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the ministries of the Sisters of St. Francis.
Cost is $325 per person and includes greens fees, contests, mulligans, cart, lunch, cocktails, and dinner. Auction items will include get-away packages to Naples, Florida; Cape May, New Jersey; and the Pocono Mountains; as well as sports tickets, memorabilia, and much, much more. Team and door prizes will also be awarded.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available! All sponsors receive recognition on the day of the event and in promotional materials. Masonry Restoration, Inc., a recognized leader in the historic preservation and exterior building restoration industry, is the Anniversary Sponsor for this year’s event.
Today, more than 600 Sisters of St. Francis serve in a variety of ministries that include education at all levels; health care; pastoral care, service to elderly persons; care of those who are homeless, poor, living with HIV/AIDS, immigrants, and refugees; and prayer and spiritual ministries. Although there is a large concentration of sisters in the Delaware Valley area, sisters live and serve in twenty-four states as well as in Puerto Rico, Africa, and Ireland.
